The Fort Frances Power Corporation is a private corporation, governed by a Board of Directors, whose shareholder is the Town of Fort Frances and is regulated by the Ontario Energy Board.

Fort Frances Power Corporation (FFPC) is a local distribution company which distributes electric power to the Town of Fort Frances, Ontario. The Town is located approximately 300 km west of Thunder Bay, Ontario,
approximately 250 km east of the Manitoba Border and is adjacent to the Town of International Falls, Minnesota. FFPC provides electrical service within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Fort Frances.

The 57.2 MW Fort Frances Solar Project by FirstLight will generate enough electricity to power about 8,000 Ontario households, while providing Fort Frances Power Corporation with an opportunity to support local economic development and expand its customer base.
